"The Australian Government (CSIRO) conduct testing of smoke alarms in accordance with Australia's smoke alarm standard. In 2006, the CSIRO  revealed that their scientific test data for smoke alarms proves the ionisation type of smoke alarms in most Australian homes should immediately be banned. Australia's smoke alarm standards are flawed.

Those paid to protect us were made aware of our flawed smoke alarm standards when we distributed the 'The C.A.N. Report*' to 88 authorities across Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the U.S. in February 2007.

Tragically almost all authorities will not/are unable to rectify this due to legal and/or political reasons and/or 'Willful Blindness'."
